The theme the final night of the conference was Edgy Southern Rock. We turned up the heat, tied our bandanas and toughened up the tent for our last hurrah with 38 Special.
These Navajo inspired furniture pieces set the western atmosphere.
Every piece of furniture we chose for this event had to accommodate both themes, Thrift Store Chic and Southern Rock. With that in mind, each pice was consciously picked to accommodate both themes. With a few minor changes in furniture, decor, and a new floor plan we were able to transform the space overnight. Out with the hipster and in with the southern drawl!
We used the same furniture with the exception of only four pieces– The Western Chairs and the Navajo Chairs. The western chair above was used specifically for Southern Rock.
We used empty beer bottles, mason jars and unfinished wood to set the tone for the guests. Our floral design concept was slightly different from the night before, we used the same types of flowers, color coordinated them and added rich colors of brown and maroon to bring out the southern look.
We put the hogs on display, and turned up the Southern Rock theme outside with babes, leather jackets and the smell of delicious BBQ.
Event staff swapped their Thrift Store duds for some good old American flag gear, leather and bandanas.
We were so pleased to have 38 Special as our live entertainment for the night. After more than three decades together, 38 SPECIAL continues to bring their signature blast of Southern Rock to the stage. At each and every show, everyone in the audience was blown away by their explosive performance!
We had a great time rockin’ the night away!
