For the Love of Purple Engagement Party

Our team dreamed up this purple motif for an outdoor Engagement celebration at a client’s home. Deep mauve and plum, lavender and lilac tones created visual interest and a bright and happy set up. Florals, also designed by Elite Productions International were a similar mix of purple hues, with large arrangements creating a gorgeous photo wall and anchoring the bar, and smaller flowers providing ambiance without being a distraction so guests can truly visit and chat during dinner.

It’s no secret that purple is one of our favorite colors, after all we even did an entire Instagram series on it. So when one of our client, who also happens to adore this hue came to us for an Engagement Party we knew she’d be thrilled with the purple motif as much as our team. And off we went designing the tablescapes and the florals along with specialty cocktails and catering selections for this deep dive into love and purple. Take a look!

Deep mauve, plum, lavender and lilac tones created visual interest and a bright and happy set up for the celebration. Four long tables were draped in a wide stripe lilac and mauve linen from La Tavola, with exquisite silver detail that echoed the chairs and the assembly of vases.

Arrangements designed by our in-house floral team, lined the center of the table, utilizing all hues of the purple family from pink orchids to blue-purple hydrangeas.

Smaller flowers provided ambiance without being a distraction, so guests could truly visit and chat during dinner.

Large glass candelabras added an elegant touch and a contrast to the playfulness of the tablescape.

String lights stretched over the tables to provided amble lighting for guests well into the night.

A dedicated arrangement anchored the bar area, where guests could enjoy a selection of top shelf beverages, along with a specialty cocktail created for the evening.

An installation of a green wall draped with fabric and accented with lush floral designs provided the perfect photo opt for guests.

Lounge furniture adjacent to the dining tables created an additional place for guests to gather as well as listen to the DJ, and enjoy the sweets table.
