Valentino Fall 2012 Couture

September 10, 2012

Elite Productions International has a rich history in the fashion industry. We’ve designed fashion shows at Southcoast Plaza, FashionIsland and the LA Fashion Mart as well as large-scale events for Escada, Saksand Bloomingdales. Our love for fashion and design was what drew us into the event design industry and it’s one of the many things that keeps us inspired and ahead of the trends today.
Valentino’s Fall 2012 Couture Collection goes even beyond the realm of fashion and into the world of art. The line, featuring elegant pieces in silk, velvet and organza is all about beautifully edited shapes that are provactive, yet reserved. Each and every piece is easy and timeless, which is something we strive to achieve in our event design as well.
The Fall 2012 Couture Collection has managed to capture the classic Valentino spirit while keeping it modern and fresh; incorporating fan-pleating in sheer opaque and velvet lace and exquisite patterns and embroidery. We can see these trends carrying over into event design for fall 2012 and we’re very grateful to Valentino for the inspiration. We’ll be mixing textures likes sheers, solids, guipure and iridescent fabrics from this gorgeous color palette to keep our events looking elegant and powerful.

For the Love of Purple Engagement Party

Our team dreamed up this purple motif for an outdoor Engagement celebration at a client’s home. Deep mauve and plum, lavender and lilac tones created visual interest and a bright and happy set up. Florals, also designed by Elite Productions International were a similar mix of purple hues, with large arrangements creating a gorgeous photo wall and anchoring the bar, and smaller flowers providing ambiance without being a distraction so guests can truly visit and chat during dinner.
